Speedway (Elit Vetlanda - Vargarna)

These two photos are a combination with trying a new position and playing around with shutter speeds to try doing something a little bit different from more regluar Speedway photos.
Shoot with 1D mkIV 400mm f 6,3 and a shutter speed of 1/200.

How to make a stable ”remote” stand:

A simple, and most stable stand for a ”remote” camera.
One wheel of the type used on a lawn mover.
One bolt 3/8″ * 3″ UNC.
(Older bullheads will have BSW threads, the ISO standard was updated some years ago).
Two nuts and four washers.
One Manfrotto ballhead 494RC2
Two of the washers are used to ”cover” the part of the bolt, that are without thread
One nut is used to secure the ballhead location.

Bygg ett enkelt och stabilt ”ställ” för en remote:

Ett enkelt, och stabilt ”ställ” för en ”remote”.
Ett hjul av den typ som används för gräsklippare, hittade ett på Claes Ohlson (Finns bl.a. i butiken på A6 i Jönköping):

En bult med tumstorlek 3/8 * 3, och UNC-gänga.
(Äldre stativhuvuden använder BSW-gängor, ISO-standarden uppdaterades för några år sedan).Två bultar, två muttrar, och fyra brickor.
Hittas på en välsorterad järhandel.
Samt en kulled.

Två av brickorna används för att ”täcka” den ogängade delen av bulten.
Så att jag kunde få bulten att sitta ordentligt i hjulet.
En av muttrarna används för att ”låsa fast” kulleden i bulten.

Kostnad för hjul, bult, brickor och muttar?
Under 100:-
Samtidigt är det betydligt mer stabilt än mitt gamla ”ministativ”.

Soccer season premiere "home game away"

This game was meant to be the first "home game" of the season.
But due to Swedish weather (long lasting winter) it was moved to Borås. 84 kilometers away.

California dreaming

There are some people i would like to say a special "thank you" to.
Those who made it possible for me to go to California.
And also all the great people i meet there.
So much nice people, a whole lot of hospitality and kindness.
I really fell in love not only with the southern California just because of the great weather. The people i meet was some of the greatest persons i meet in my life.
Big thanks to all of you!
Some time in the future, i will get back there, together with my fantastic wife.
